Professor Abboud stated: “I would like to say a huge welcome to all our new students for 2015-2016. It is a great testament to the team here at TORT that we can offer such wide-ranging and diverse research-based courses to more than 30 in-house students once again this year. Also when you factor in our distance learning students not based here in Dundee, our 4th year medical students and PhD students it highlights what can be achieved by a small group of dedicated staff supported by a world-renowned visiting teaching faculty in recruiting students, successfully educating them and thus promoting the University of Dundee. I look forward to working with each and every one of you in producing important, novel academic research and for you to present and publish your results. I am sure you will all enjoy the culture and hospitality Dundee and Scotland as a whole have to offer and I personally look forward to you becoming valued Alumni.”
