Professor Rami Abboud, Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching (School of Medicine), Head of the Department of Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery and Director of the MCh (Orth) Dundee Degree at the University of Dundee, has been invited as a guest speaker at this years’ Diamond Jubilee IOACON - 60th Indian Orthopaedic Association Annual Conference in Rajasthan. Apart from the honour of presenting at this prestigious event Professor Abboud will be making the trip to India to represent the Department, the School of Medicine and the University along with Mr Sadiq Nasir as professional support. There will be a University manned information booth (Stall B-18) at the conference giving information and advice about courses and life as a student in Dundee. This has proved to be a highly successful exercise over the past several years with huge interest shown by delegates who this year are expected to number over 7000 eminent Orthopaedic surgeons of national and international repute, sharing their views and their work and experiences, during scientific sessions, workshops and CME.
Whilst there, Professor Abboud hopes to meet up with valued members of our MCh (Orth) course Alumni, catching up with friends, and making new acquaintances with future students. Please feel free to drop by or email s.nasir@dundee.ac.uk as we hope to meet with you one evening.
