Just to say thank-you!
The Department of Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery hosted on Friday 2nd December 2016 a panel from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) of England consisting of Professor Peter Kay (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon), Professor Roger Vaughan (Consultant Thoracic Surgeon) and Mr Salim Nazir (RCS Head of QA and Accreditation) for the re-accreditation of the Dundee MCh (Orth) and MSc in Orthopaedic Science courses. The MCh (Orth) was originally accredited in 2013.
“Whilst awaiting for the official outcome from the RCS Eng after its Council meets in February 2017, it was a great opportunity to treat our MCh (Orth) candidates on completing their Semester 1 exams together with staff and NHS colleagues who attended and supported the re-accreditation event to a celebratory dinner yesterday at the Invercarse Hotel”, said Professor Abboud. “I can’t see a better way in ending Semester 1 other than celebrating with our students and valuing the immense effort that our staff put in to support them. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our TORT students and extended diverse teaching faculty, external and internal, a happy festive period and all the best for 2017”.
