Gold medal award for MCh graduate

Dear Professor Abboud

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that I have received the prestigious Dr Durgapada Bakshi Gold Medal at the 2016 Indian Orthopaedic Association Conference in Kochi for my paper presentation on "Short term results of reverse shoulder arthroplasty at NHS Tayside, Scotland".

It was due to the tremendous impetus given to my research work during my MCh (Orth) course the University of Dundee during 2014-2015, that I was able to achieve the gold medal back in my home country of India. I am very thankful to the whole team at the TORT Centre for their continued support and guidance with regards to my research.

I recommend this course to all young orthopaedic surgeons to get a real taste of a Scottish experience in the field of orthopaedics and otherwise.
