Dr Parag Sancheti was awarded Fellowship without Examination from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
Dr Parag Sancheti graduated from the MCh Orth course in Dundee in 2003 by winning the Course's Presentation Skills Award. He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon & Knee Specialist and is the current Professor and Chairman of the widely acclaimed Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation in Pune, India. He was today awarded the Fellowship without Examination from the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh towards his services to training and education in orthopaedics.
"It was very clear to me that Dr Sancheti will not sit on his laurels but will go on to achieve one accolade after the other", said Professor Abboud. "Dr Sancheti made it possible for us to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Dundee MCh Orth Course in 2004 in Le Meridien in Pune and most recently the 20th Anniversary in March 2013 in Le Meridien in Pune again. The academic and research developments that have taken place over the last 10 years since he completed his MCh degree with us shows a leader with a vision who is creating new milestones for the Sancheti Institute rather than living on past history. It is no surprise that he was elected as the youngest President of the Pune Orthopaedic Assocaition on 1st April 2013 and this Fellowship is a further accolade to his ongoing success".
