Civic Reception by Dundee's Lord Provost

It was a great honour for the Department’s newly arrived overseas students when Dundee’s Lord Provost, Ian Letford MBE, invited us to a Civic Reception in Dundee City Chambers to welcome them to Dundee and to highlight the tremendous courses the Department offers overseas students here in Dundee. There was an informal meeting of all invited guests followed by a formal address given by the Lord Provost, resplendent in his official chains. There then followed a splendid finger buffet and photo opportunities. We would very much like to thank Dundee City Council and the Lord Provost for their genuine hospitality.
