Retiral of Mrs June Pate

Mrs June Pate retired from her position as Professor Abboud’s PA and MCh Orth Course Administrator in December this year. She initially joined the University in 2001 working as a Library Assistant in Ninewells Nursing Library. June was a valued and respected member of the team and held several positions within the Department, initially joining in 2003 as OCAP (Orthopaedic Competence Assessment Project) secretary then onto supporting the distance learning courses as DTP and ultimately as PA to Professor Abboud in 2008. The department presented June with a Kindle Fire e-reader as a token of appreciation for all she has contributed to the department. Although she will be sadly missed we would like to wish June a long and happy retirement no doubt filling her days with her children and grandchildren, dogs and husband John and his boat.
