Retiral of Mr Guthrie Boath
It was a sad day for the Department when Mr Guthrie Boath, Laboratory Technician, decided to retire after 15 years service. Guthrie was a trusted and highly respected member of staff who joined Orthopaedics in 1990 after being made redundant from his career as a technician in the dental industry. He had many strings to his bow and had a vast knowledge on a myriad of topics which was a great help to students, supervisors and research project designs. We would all like to wish Guthrie well in his retirement (pictured right: Professors David Rowley and Rami Abboud presenting Guthrie with his retirement gift).
