Appointed to SICOT Educational Committee

Mr Arpit Jariwala, Director of UDOTS, was appointed a member of the SICOT Educational Committee (Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie), on the 23rd July 2020.

Mr Jariwala in his role will contribute to the SICOT for its wide variety of educational activities including teaching, training and developing courses and will also support transition planning for the incredible surge of academic activity and ‘redirection’ resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a member of the Educational Committee, he will be attending the 41st SICOT Orthopaedic World Congress 2020 which is rescheduled for 15 - 18 September 2021 in Budapest.

Mr Jariwala stated:

“It is a great honour to be invited to become a member of SICOT. I very much look forward to actively contributing to the Educational Committee for this two-year membership period, whilst promoting orthopaedics and traumatology to the diverse global international constituency and develop collaborations between SICOT and UDOTS & UOD on various educational platforms.”
