Sports Injury Mini-Symposium 2021

The University of Dundee Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (School of Medicine) is pleased to invite you to join us for the 2nd Annual Dundee Sports Injury Symposium, on Friday 9 July 2021 from 9:30-14:30 BST (British standard time).

This year’s event has been organised and run by Mr Arpit Jariwala (Director UDOTS) and Dr Andrew J. Murphy (Lecturer in Sports Biomechanics and Rehabilitation) and is free to attend and will be held fully online. This year’s event has invited distinguished lecturers from the University of Cincinnati, US, facilitated by one of UDOTS’ alumni, Dr Krishna Reddy.

The one-day symposium shall cover a lot of ground and should be of interest to any undergraduate or postgraduate student or practicing clinician or medic who has an interest in sports medicine or sports injury. A range of invited international experts will provide contributions covering topics such as: the future of sports medicine in Scotland, perspectives and experience-based commentary from side-line physios and physicians, a variety of major sports injuries including concussion and a range of musculoskeletal trauma.
