Dr Sidhant completed his Diploma in Sports Medicine (Dip SportsMed) from the International Olympic Committee in 2020. He is presently Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics and Consultant Orthopaedic & Sports Surgeon. He is also on the Editorial Boards of several Orthopaedic Journals with a high impact factor. His hard work and enthusiasm have given him positions at Executive levels in several organisations including the Indian Orthopaedic Society (IOA), the Maharastra Orthopaedic Association (MOA) and the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT).
Dr Goyal stated:
“I was fortunate to have my research topic associated with Knee surgery for my MCh (Orth) which no doubt helped in getting me accepted onto this Fellowship. I’d like to thank my mentors who keep me motivated and believe in me. I’m proud and happy to be a part of the UDOTS Dundee family!”
Mr Arpit Jariwala, UDOTS & MCh (Orth) Dundee Director, added:
“I’d like to congratulate Sidhant for being selected for this Fellowship at an excellent Centre where he will learn and further his orthopaedic understanding of all aspects of the knee. Sidhant was a great student at his time in Dundee and was always willing to participate and learn in Theatres and Workshops. Everyone at UDOTS wishes him every success over the 6 months and hope he stays in touch with us in Dundee.”
