Further, promotions would be as per Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions. (updated 2017 ADVT.-III/4/Exty./469/16 (100))

“This is brilliant news for our MCh (Orth) Dundee Alumni and prospective students as their future applications for Medical College teaching posts will be supported where appropriate by this current directive which was only recently brought to my knowledge. This adds further kudos to the prestigious MCh (Orth) Dundee Course which is already recognised by many Indian State Medical Councils.

In addition, this directive will also help many Indian doctors who are University of Dundee Alumni, current or prospective Post Graduate students in various medical disciplines that are keen to take up teaching posts in India.
