SESICON 2022 Kochi, Kerala, India

Mr Arpit Jariwala is joining a fourteen-strong invited international teaching faculty at the Annual Shoulder & Elbow Society of India Meet (SESICON) 2022 in Kochi.

Mr Jariwala will be speaking for sessions on the topics of Total Elbow Replacement in the Trauma setting and How I manage Lateral End Clavicle fractures -Tips and Tricks.

The conference, organised by the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Kerala and Cochin Orthopaedic Society, will take place from 28th to 30th October 2022 at the Grand Hyatt, Kochi, India. It is one of the most important orthopaedic gatherings in India with the conference planned to be conducted on a hybrid platform using ZOOM. The main aim of this conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences of national and international surgeons and to strengthen the network of relationships.

SESICON 2022 comes hot on the heels of an extremely busy October trip to India where Mr Jariwala presented on upper limb orthopaedics at the MP Chapter of the Indian Orthopaedic Association Conference (Madhya Pradesh) and the King Edward Memorial Hospital KEMS (Mumbai) where he also promoted the School of Medicine programmes.

Mr Jariwala commented:

“I would like to thank Dr John T John and SESICON 2022 organising committee for the kind invite. I can see that the programme is excellent and great topics around Shoulder and Elbow well debated over the three days. I am so pleased that Shoulder and Elbow as a sub-speciality is growing at a great pace in India to be able to provide best evidence-based treatment for the patients. Looking forward to sharing my experience with the delegates in person and learning from the attending faculty.”
