Dundee's Holi Celebrations

Several of our students celebrated Holi festival this weekend.

Holi is the ancient Hindu spring festival also known as the festival of colours and the festival of love. During the festival the air in India is filled with clouds of coloured powder and flowers rain down from the sky and our Indian students celebrated the festival on Campus Green outside the Dundee University Student Union.

Participants were encouraged to wear white for the best colour experience and to expect a descending rainbow of powder, which from the photos below is exactly what they got!
